South Panola: Junior RB Oluwain Hoskins rushed for 125 yards and 2 TDs in a 62-27 win against Memphis White Station. … RB Darrell Henderson rushed for 94 yards and 2 TDs. … Senior LB Anfernee Benson had 8 tackles.

West Point: QB Dason Thomas had 192 yards and 2 TDs in a win against Grenada. … RB Quincy Starks rushed for 112 yards. … WR Steffon Moore caught a 77-yard TD pass.

• Since starting a yearly series, South Panola has won three straight.

• Grenada rushed for 212 yards against West Point, which will be challenged by Panola’s strong rush game.

• West Point had to have a stop on a final drive to keep Grenada from completing a 12-point comeback.

Falkner: RB Jeramie Lawrence rushed for 96 yards on 4 carries and had 2 TDs, with a punt return TD, in a rout of Middleton, Tenn. … QB Jase Stroupe had 5 carries for 51 yards and a TD. … Stroupe threw TDs to three players.

Walnut: ATH Armani Linton was held to 43 yards on 17 carries in a 21-14 loss at Booneville. … Monterio Hunt scored on a 75-yard kick return in the first quarter for Walnut. … Linton’s second quarter score put Walnut ahead 14-7 at the half.

• This is the annual Tippah County rivalry, the Joe Bowl.

• Walnut is 9-3 since it became the Joe Bowl.

• The Joe Bowl wasn’t played in 2009 due to a Swine Flu outbreak.
