Tupelo pep rally moved to BCS Arena

TUPELO – Today’s community pep rally celebrating the Tupelo High School football team’s appearance in the state championship game has been moved indoors.

The pep rally will start at 4 p.m. at BancorpSouth Arena. Attendees should enter through the south doors on either side of the box office.

It was originally scheduled for Fairpark but was moved because of the weather.

Game tickets will be on sale at the pep rally. They also are on sale in the Tupelo High School administration building until 3 today. Advance tickets cost $12, including parking, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the school. Tickets cost $13 a the gate.

Tupelo High’s game against Oak Grove is Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Jackson’s Veterans Memorial Stadium.
