BLUE MOUNTAIN – Jordan McKay, a two-year letterman at Tupelo High School, has signed a cross country scholarship with Blue Mountain College.
“Jordan will be a really good addition to our program,” said BMC coach
Phillip Laney. “The thing about Jordan is that he has improved steadily throughout his high school running, especially this past year.”
McKay finished ninth in the 5,000-meters Class 6A championship with a time of 17:38. He posted his best time of the year, 17:36, in the Tupelo Invitational 5K where he finished 17th.
McKay recently turned in his best time in the 1,600 meters, 4:59.78, at the Daily Journal Relays.
