TULSA, Okla. – Both Ole Miss doubles teams advanced to the NCAA Final Four on Saturday with come-from-behind wins.
This marks the first time since 2000, for the Rebels to have a doubles team in the semifinals and the first time since 1995, for two Rebel teams to be in the Final Four.
In the first match of the day, fourth-seeded Erling Tveit and Jonas Berg came back to defeat the North Carolina team of Taylor Fogleman and Chris Kearney 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 in three sets.
The fifth-ranked Rebel duo will face Austin Krajicek and Conor Pollack of Texas A&M in the semifinals.
Matthias Wellermann and Bram ten Berge beat Wake Forest's Steven Forman and Cory Parr 3-6, 6-4, 7-6(4). They play second-seeded Robert Farah and Kaes Van't Hof of Southern Cal today.
