HATTIESBURG — The Southern Miss Department of Athletics says the school has exhausted its ticket allotment of 700 for each of its sessions at the College World Series.
After allocating tickets to the coaches, players and staff, to university contractual obligations and travel party, Southern Miss had less than 500 tickets, which were used for Eagle Club members.
The ticket office received requests for more than 1,000 tickets for the school’s first trip to Omaha for the College World Series.
For those fans who requested tickets, they will be informed over the next 24 hours on the status of their request.
