Vardaman’s Odie Armstrong and his Arizona Rattlers teammates will take another shot at winning the Arena Football League championship tonight in New Orleans.
The Rattlers and Philadephia Soul square off in Arena Bowl XXV tonight at 9:30, in a game to be seen on the NFL Network.
Armstrong is a former ICC standout who also played at Northwest Oklahoma State.
The Rattlers lost 73-70 to Jacksonville in last season’s title matchup on the final play of the game.
The 260-pound Armstrong leads the Rattlers in rushing (214 yards) and rushing touchdowns (16). He scored his team’s first touchdown in a 75-69 win over Utah in the AFL semifinals on a 40-yard run.
