Rainy weather has jumbled local sports schedules.

Mississippi State, which was set to open a three-game baseball series tonight against Arkansas, will now play two games on Saturday. First pitch for Game 1 at Dudy Noble Field is set for 2 p.m.

Ole Miss and Alabama meet in Tuscaloosa today, and the start time there has been pushed up by 30 minutes, to 6 p.m.

In community college action, Itawamba’s doubleheader with East Mississippi has been postponed from Saturday to Sunday, with a 1 p.m. scheduled start in Scooba. Northeast’s twinbill versus Coahoma, also originally set for Saturday, will now be played Sunday at 1 p.m. in Clarksdale.

ICC and Northeast were scheduled to clash in softball today, but that doubleheader has been moved to 3 p.m. Monday.

Several high school games have also been affected by the weather.
