Well-rested Lady Bulldogs travel to Louisiana Tech

After 10 days off, Mississippi State’s women will be in Ruston, La., tonight to take on Louisiana Tech. Tipoff at Thomas Assembly Center is 7 p.m.
MSU (5-3) hasn’t played since an 85-52 win over Southern Miss on Dec. 2. The Lady Bulldogs are led by senior guard Alexis Rack’s 19.1 points and 4.6 assists per game.
Louisiana Tech (4-2), led by first-year coach and former Lady Techster Teresa Weatherspoon, is paced by forwards Adrienne Johnson (17.7 ppg) and Shanavia Dowdell (15.7 ppg).
State beat Tech in Starkville last season, 72-42. Tech leads the all-time series, 5-4.
