TUPELO – Wish there were more quail or turkey on your place?
The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks will host a landowners’ workshop on game bird management Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hancock Leadership Center in Tupelo, concentrating on habitat management for bobwhites and turkeys.
Wildlife biologists will be available to answer questions after the formal program.
Registration is $5, including lunch and refreshments, and pre-registration is required by Wednesday.
