STARKVILLE – Wide receiver Jeremey Chappelle has confirmed that he is no longer attending Mississippi State.

Chappelle missed the final few weeks of spring football practices, and no explanation was given as to his status with the team.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pounder appeared in 11 games for the Bulldogs last fall after transferring in from Tyler (Texas) Junior College in January 2013. He caught four passes for 45 yards and made one solo tackle in his only season at MSU.

Chappelle was a three-star prospect who spent his freshman season at Stephen F. Austin.
