Grisham elected MAS President

BILOXI – Dist. 4 Supervisor Dennis Grisham has been elected to serve a one year term as the President of the Mississippi Association of Supervisors for 2009-2010. As far as anyone can recall, he is the first Tippah supervisor to be elected president of the state organization. Grisham was elected at the Association’s annual convention held in Biloxi June 15-19. He previously served as Association vice-president. Grisham was first elected as a Tippah County Supervisor in 1984 and is currently serving his seventh term. He and his wife Lynda reside in Dumas. Said Grisham this week: “I’m honored to be selected, but I’m still representing the people of the Fourth District. This won’t interfere with my duties whatsoever.
