Wrapping up the day that was from DJournal.com and elsewhere.

Hot Click

Rebels’ scrimmage – Ole Miss scrimmaged on Saturday, the story ran Sunday, and it was the most-clicked on DJournal.com today. Never a bad time to read about football, am I right? Just a heads up – we’ve got a Robert Nkemdiche story coming tomorrow. Be sure to post it on your local message board(s) and discuss at length while eschewing work.

Big Development

Working on the railroad – They’re finally gonna fix the loose tracks at Crosstown. This weekend. While NOleput, the Color Vibe 5K and the circus are going on. Yeah, that won’t be a cluster.

Best of the Blogs

Bye-bye Bombay (Biz Buzz) – Do you like Indian Food? Well, my condolences, because Bombay Grill has closed. It was Tupelo’s only Indian restaurant.

Nation/world highlights

Health care offline – More woes for healthcare.gov, on deadline day of course. Because the government has a policy against doing anything efficiently.

Deadly cops – What’s going on with the Albuquerque police? I don’t know, but I spelled Albuquerque correctly on the first try just then, so go me.

Talk It Out

Baseball has like four “opening days.” Should MLB have just one Opening Day? And should it be a national holiday? (The answer to both of those questions is yes.)
