HOUSTON, Texas – Jurors return today to consider the government's fraud allegations against R. Allen Stanford.

They began deliberations late Wednesday and did not work over the weekend.

Stanford, 62, is accused of masterminding a $7.2 billion Ponzi scheme on investors of certificates of deposit through his Stanford International Bank in Antigua.

Thousands of Mississippians were among the 22,000 investors worldwide who lost their savings when the bank crashed in early 2009.
