Dorothy Colston, 82, was driving a Nissan Versa eastbound on C.R. 510 near Kossuth when she apparently ran off the road, overcorrected and the vehicle overturned, Jones said. She was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. He pronounced her dead at the scene.
Colston lived on C.R. 510 in the Jobetown community.
Alcorn County E-911 received the call about the accident shortly after 2 p.m.
