According to Matt Leff of Nashville-based Rhizome Productions, which is putting on the event, more than a third of the 1,000 available tickets have been sold, and he expects the halfway point to be reached soon.
“We’re pleased with the response so far,” he said.
Leff also expects a big walkup crowd the day of the festival, especially with the Rascal Flatts concert slated for later that night at the BancorpSouth Arena.
Tickets, by the way, are $35 in advance and $40 at the gate. You can buy the tickets online here. Designated Driver tickets also are being sold for $10. There’s no limit to those tickets and Leff encourages festival attendees to make sure they have a designated driver to get them home safely. There will be security at the event.
As a reminder, the event is March 2 from Noon to 5 p.m. at Veterans Park. As of now, 30 brewers with around 100 beers are signed up for the event. Food also will be served by Neon Pig and Papa V’s.
