Two Booneville women facing charges connected to BB shootings

Two young women were arrest Tuesday and face charges of three counts of aggravated assault after wounding three different people in Booneville with a BB rifle.

Kerstein L. Jackson, 20, 664 Highway 4 West Booneville and Ebony N. Garner, 20, of 108 Jacinto Heights No. 1 Booneville are each being held on $15,000 bond in Prentiss County Jail, according to Booneville Police Chief Michael Ramey.

The first victim was a male shot in the side of the head on College Street. The second victim was a female shot in the leg on Jim Drewry Drive. The third person was shot in the eye on North Second Street.

The case will be presented to the Grand Jury and remains under investigation.
