Tupelo man arraigned for aggravated assault

TUPELO – A Tupelo man charged with aggravated assault was arraigned at the beginning of the week in Lee County Justice Court.

Judge Rickey Thompson set the bond for James Andrew Moore, 47, of Tupelo, at $25,000.

The assault took place over the last weekend around the Ode and Green street area.

The victim of the alleged assault was treated at North Mississippi Medical Center and has since been released.

Moore is being held at the Lee County jail.
