TUPELO - Tupelo Police have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Tupelo man in relation to Friday's early morning shooting at the Barley Courts Apartments.
Police are searching for Tkoyo Jones, 27, of Tupelo. An aggravated assault warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Tupelo Police Department Lt. Jerry Davis said officers responded to a shots fired call at the apartment complex and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds when they arrived.
The man was transported to the North Mississippi Medical Center where he is recovering.
