• Mississippi State's men continue their season-opening nine-game homestand tonight when Florida Atlantic visits Humphrey Coliseum for a 7 o'clock tipoff.

The Bulldogs (4-0) - one of only two remaning unbeaten teams in the SEC - have won all their games by 10 points or less.

They've been led by the hot hand of senior Ravern Johnson, who's averaging 27.3 points per game, which ranks fifth in the nation, while hitting 56.3 percent of his 3-point shots. He had a career-high 33 points in Friday's 93-83 overtime win over Troy.

Florida Atlantic is 3-4 and has lost three in a row, most recently a 66-51 decision to George Mason on Saturday.

The Owls are led by sophomore guard Greg Gantt (16.0 ppg) and are coached by Mike Jarvis, who previously coached at St. John's and George Washington.
