Lackey, 30, was indicted by a federal grand jury last June but worked a deal for his guilty plea to only one charge of possessing a computer with images of child pornography that came across state lines.
He pleaded guilty June 27 and is scheduled to turn himself in to a federal prison Jan. 10.
The U.S. Bureau of Prisons will inform him where he will serve his sentence.
Lackey was ordered to register as a sex offender and to undergo treatment, as well as not access a computer or the Internet after he is on supervised release from his prison stint.
