BOONEVILLE – Two dozen games will be played over the next two days at Northeast’s Bonner Arnold Coliseum and the Booneville High school gym as part of the annual Kiwanis Club of Booneville tournament.

Action at both sites tips off at noon, with six games at each site each day.

All-day admission at both gyms is $5.

“We really think it will become a premier event in the state,” said 2010-11 Booneville Kiwanis Club President Stan Howell.

Proceeds from the tournament go to Booneville High School athletic programs, Northeast basketball and the Kiwanis Club of Booneville to fund scholarships at Northeast and funding for the club’s service projects befitting children of Prentiss County.

The entire tournament schedule is elsewhere on this page.

Myrtle clash: The two-day Myrtle Christmas Clash, with seven games today and eight games on Tuesday, tips off this morning at 11 a.m.
