Pontotoc County Sheriff Neal Davis said bond has been set for $1 million on Jimmy Kramer III of 936 Roye Road Pontotoc who has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting death of David Mike Johns of 1172 Eddington Road in Troy.

Davis said a family dispute arose over property damage which resulted in John's death.

Sources said an argument Wednesday afternoon about 2 p.m. on Roye Road escalated into one brother-in-law shooting the other.

One man has been taken into custody and the shooting is still under investigation.
