Dates set for Tupelo festivals this year

TUPELO – The 2011 dates have been set for the following Tupelo festivals:

- Presley Heights Azalea Festival presents the UP, UP & Away Balloon Festival, April 8-9 at Veteran’s Park and in east Tupelo.

- Wildlife Weekend, April 23 at the Natchez Trace Parkway Visitor Center.

--Tupelo Blue Suede Cruise, April 29-May 1 at the BancorpSouth Arena and Tupelo Automobile Museum.

- Dudie’s Burger Festival, April 30 at the Oren Dunn City Museum.

- 40th annual GumTree Festival of the Arts, May 6-8 in downtown Tupelo.

- Eighth annual Tupelo Film Festival, May 12-14 at the Lyric Theatre and in downtown Tupelo.

- Tupelo Elvis Festival, June 3-5 in downtown Tupelo.
