A couple of former Mississippi State basketball players might have found new homes.

Forward Elgin Bailey and guard Twany Beckham both left MSU the first week of January for different reasons. Bailey has shown up on the student directory at Southeastern Louisiana, a school he was rumored to be transferring to. He's from Baton Rouge, which isn't far from the Hammond school.

Bailey is a junior and started 11 of the 12 games he played for MSU, but he left after fighting with teammate Renardo Sidney in Hawaii. Bailey averaged 5.8 points and 4.8 rebounds this season.

Beckham, a sophomore guard, left a few days after Bailey and was at Kentucky's practice Monday, according to the Louisville Courier-Journal. The Louisville native started the first five games of the season at point guard for MSU but decided to leave when the return of Dee Bost signaled less playing time.

Both players would have to sit out a year under NCAA transfer rules.
