Husband kills self after shooting wife

RIDGELAND - Ridgeland police are investigating a shooting outside an office complex in which two people were shot, one fatally.

Police say a man shot his wife Friday, then turned the gun on himself.

Chief Jimmy Houston said the man is dead, and the woman was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.

Houston said the shooting occurred after the woman walked outside to talk to her husband.
