Shooting suspect turns himself in, $150K bond set

TUPELO - Corey Fair turned himself in to police detectives Friday morning as a suspect in a Thursday afternoon shooting on North Spring Street.

Fair, 39, of 4912 Raymond Ave., Verona is charged with aggravated assault. His bond was set Friday at $150,000. Tupelo Police Chief Tony Carleton said the victim, whose name is not being released, was released from the hospital Friday morning. He was shot in the arm.

What caused the shooting is still unknown.
