The Blue Mountain women’s basketball team will take one more shot at top-ranked Union tonight in Jackson, Tenn.

The first-round game in the TransSouth Athletic Conference playoffs tips at 7 p.m.

Blue Mountain (7-21, 2-14 TSAC) lost home (79-43) and away (82-52) to Union, the two-time defending NAIA champions, in the regular season.

Junior guard Erin Parrish, from Corinth, leads the Lady Toppers in scoring (12.9).

Union (28-1, 15-1) has been the top-ranked women’s team in the NAIA in 47 consecutive polls and has won five straight TSAC regular season titles.
