JACKSON — Gov. Haley Barbour has signed a bill to create a state license plate to commemorate the New Orleans Saints' Super Bowl championship season.

People would pay an additional $50 for the Saints tag in Mississippi.

The plate will have the same design as one in Louisiana, with a black-and-gold fleur-de-lis and the Super Bowl XLIV logo.

Most of the fee will be distributed to Infinity Science Center, a tourist attraction being built at NASA's Stennis Space Center in coastal Hancock County.

Infinity is a $40 million, 72,000-square-foot museum created in partnership with Stennis Space Center on 200 acres adjacent to the welcome center at Exit 2 on Interstate 10.

The bill is House Bill 705.
