Casey Swanson, who faces a manslaughter charge after his pit bulls killed a man in January, was in court Monday for arraignment before Judge Thomas Gardner entering a plea of not guilty, according to Circuit Clerk Tracy Robinson.
Wilbur Bristow was appointed as his public defender. His next court date for further action on this charge is July 19. He continues to be held without bond for his probation violation.
Swanson's tenant, Ronnie Waldo, was killed Jan. 26 after being attacked by the dogs.
