Linda F. Holt, 52, of 86 C.R. 485, Iuka, was arrested about 7 p.m. Tuesday after a 15-month investigation into the death of John R. Holt, whose beaten body was found in his home on Dec. 23, 2009, said Tishomingo County Sheriff Glenn Whitlock.
Linda Holt's initial appearance in Tishomingo County Justice Court is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, and the case is expected to be presented to the grand jury at the end of May.
The investigation is ongoing and other arrests are expected, the sheriff said.
