Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers died Thursday during combat operations in the Helmand province. The Clarion-Ledger reports visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pinelake Church in Brandon.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, followed by burial at New Brandon Cemetery.
Congregational Care Pastor Jeff Holland of Pinelake Church says the family welcomed those who wished to show their love and support during this difficult time.
