Rouco has 24 years of coaching experience at the high school and college levels, including five as the head coach at Florida International from 2004-09. Rouco's hire should finish a substantial makeover to Kennedy's staff after a disappointing 20-14 season that ended with a fourth trip to the NIT in five seasons.
Assistants Michael White, Torrey Ward and Owen Miller all left the program after the season. White is now the head coach at Louisiana Tech.
They have been replaced by Rouco, Al Pinkins and Bill Armstrong, who was promoted from the program's director of operations position.
