Walter McClure's bond was set Monday by Municipal Court Judge Mark Cliett. The 69-year-old McClure remained in the Clay County jail on Monday.
Police say the body of 48-year-old Michael "Shane" McClure was found shortly before midnight Saturday in the driveway of a West Point home. Police say Walter McClure was laying on top of his son and had to be pulled off.
Police have released no other details of the shooting.
