Your newspaper has a new look today, but you'll still find it familiar in other ways.

We've updated our headline and photo caption type and made the obituaries easier to read. There's more space between lines of type and stories to give a cleaner, less cluttered feel. Only one story continues off the front page and sports front, but there will often be additional information about a front page story inside if you want more.

The weather is on page 3A, where it will be every day of the week. Local news is still up front and there's still a summary of nation and world news inside. Other items will stay in the same place more regularly than in the past.

If you can't find something you're looking for, check the index below.

We also hope you like our new logo, which we've designed for a more contemporary feel but with the "old English" Journal staying rooted in our heritage.

We believe these changes will make reading the Daily Journal easier and save you time. Your comments and questions are welcome.
