A joint operation was initiated which resulted in the arrest of 12 suspects over the last several weeks, and a search warrant at the South Park Manor Apartments on July 14.
Search warrant: On Thursday July 14 at approximately 4 p.m. officers with the Tupelo Police Department and Narcotic Agents served a search warrant at 2944 South Green Street Apartment No. 56 (South Park Manor Apartments), and arrested Dedric Clark for possession of crack cocaine.
The success of this operation is the direct result of the cooperation that officers received from concerned citizens who called in numerous tips about illegal drug activity in their neighborhoods.
The investigation and operation will be on going during the rest of the summer with more arrests and indictments expected within the next month.
