3 arrested in death of convenience store guard

JACKSON — Police now have made three arrests in connection with the shooting death of a security guard at a Jackson convenience store.

Fifty-four-year-old James McKinney was shot Tuesday after two masked men entered the store. A store clerk was shot in the leg.

Arrested were 23-year-old Aaron McNair, 21-year-old Kameron Woodard and 29-year-old Derrick Johnson. Each was booked with capital murder.

Woodard and Johnson were arrested at separate locations in Jackson on Friday. McNair was arrested Wednesday in Clinton, La.
