Tribute artist winner to perform in Tupelo

TUPELO - The 2011 Tupelo Elvis Festival Preliminary Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Competition winner Cody Slaughter will be doing a performance in Tupelo tonight.

The Arkansas native will perform at the Ice House at 7 p.m.

Tickets are limited and can be purchased by calling (662) 871-1583. The concert is being presented by the Tupelo Elvis Presley Fan Club.

Slaughter is in town to enjoy and learn all about Elvis' hometown, ahead of the final round of the Ultimate Tribute Artist Competition in Memphis next weekend.
