TUPELO – Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann will be in Tupelo on Tuesday to discuss three initiatives that will be on the ballot in the Nov. 8 general election.

The public hearing, required by the state’s initiative law, is at 5:30 p.m. at the Link Centre, 1800 West Main St.

The secretary of state’s office will present information about proposed amendments to the state constitution that require voter identification at the polls, restrict the use of eminent domain and define personhood as beginning at conception. Public comment and questions are invited.
