On Thursday, Randy R. Trulove, 48, of 515 County Road 1451 Saltillo was charged with possession of crystal meth. His bond was set at $100,000.
Police believe Trulove was manufacturing meth in his home.
According to Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson, it's been months since police made a meth arrest. Johnson said home meth labs have become almost extinct since the legislature put a law into effect mandating those who purchase pseudophedrine have a prescription.
"Not too long ago this was a routine arrest and not it's more uncommon. That shows the law is working," Johnson said.
