A total of 224 players from around the state will be in the field for the 2011 Senior Mixed Doubles Tennis Championships, set for Aug. 26-28 at Rob Leake City Park in Tupelo and at Pontotoc High School.
It’s the state championship meet for players 50 and older, competing for a chance to advance to the sectional tournament.
The event will be hosted by Tupelo Parks and Recreation along with Tupelo Tennis Association.
