Could it be possible that Thursday night's Mississippi State-Memphis football game could NOT be seen on Comcast, a cable network founded in Tupelo?
Indeed. The game - which will be televised in the state on SportSouth - WILL NOT be seen Comcast systems in Tupelo, Hattiesburg and Meridian, among other cities.
Cities served by Cable One, including Gulfport and Biloxi, don't carry SportSouth, either.
Don't confuse SportSouth with Fox Sports South, which is available on Comcast systems. FSS will be showing a Braves game when the Bulldogs take the field in Memphis.
The MSU game WILL be seen on both primary satellite providers, along with cable systems provided by AT&T.
