Two suspects arrested in drive-by shooting in Oxford

OXFORD – Two suspects arrested early Monday in connection with a drive-by shooting on Pegues Road have been identified.

Oxford Police arrested Adlogques Dooley, 31, of Columbus, and Lashetta Coleman, 20, of Oxford. Dooley was charged with drive-by shooting, aggravated assault and possession of a stolen firearm. Coleman was charged with drive-by shooting and aggravated assault.

Shortly after midnight on Monday morning, Oxford Police Department received a report of the shooting. Responding officers found that multiple shots had been fired into a residence and at a person as he ran from the house. No one was injured in the shooting.

Dooley’s bond was set at $100,000 and Coleman’s at $75,000.
