The game will be seen on satellite TV systems - lots of bars and restaurants are planning to take advantage – and on other non-Comcast systems such as AT&T.
The game is set to appear in the state on SportSouth, which is not to be confused with Fox Sports South. To make matters more confusing, the game will be seen in some markets outside the state on FSS.
Inside the state, FSS is scheduled to broadcast an Atlanta Braves game tonight.
Comcast officials contacted Wednesday afternoon said there had been no change in that plan.
If you would like to see the game on a really big screen, Mississippi State will show the game on the jumbotron at Davis-Wade Stadium. The gates open at 6:30 p.m. and concession stands will be open.
