Applications for the position will be accepted through Sept. 23, said Gary Chandler, president of The Alliance.
Main Street Corinth Executive Director Kelly Rinehart will become The Alliance’s membership and marketing coordinator.
“Kelly will continue with Main Street through Hog Wild and beyond, if need be,” Chandler said.

“She will bring to The Alliance a background in marketing that really no one else in our office has,” Chandler said.

• Hog Wild, a barbecue cooking contest sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society.
• Celebrate Corinth in November, with retail open houses throughout downtown, samples of cuisine from local restaurants, entertainment and a silent auction.
• The Corinth and Alcorn County Christmas Parade in December.
