Tupelo seeks softball teams for fundraiser

TUPELO - The Tupelo Water & Light Department will host a Sept. 24 softball tournament to raise funds for Smithville tornado relief.

Open registration for teams ends Tuesday. Anyone can participate, and it costs $125 per team to join. All proceeds will go to Smithville.

The tournament begins at 8 a.m. at the Veterans Park Softball fields in Tupelo. To register or for more information, call TW&L at (662) 841-6460.
