ABERDEEN - Disbarred attorney Vann Frederick Leonard will be sentenced Oct. 13 on a south Mississippi embezzlement case.

U.S. District Judge Sharion Aycock will preside over the hearing set for 1:30 p.m. in Aberdeen.

Last February, Leonard pleaded guilty to one count that he stole $327,585 entrusted to him in a bankruptcy estate he administered. The criminal and bankruptcy cases were transferred to North Mississippi.

Leonard faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine, as well as possible restitution.
