Monday, U.S. District Court records show a Nov. 9 hearing is set for his plea on two counts, although it's not known publicly exactly what he will say he did.
Judge Sharion Aycock will preside over the 1:30 p.m. hearing in Oxford.
The charges against Chandler are separate from three other men accused out-right in the scandal associated with Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville.
Set for a Dec. 12 trial on those charges are Ray Shoemaker of Tupelo, Levi "Lee" Garner of Batesville and Dr. Robert Corkern of Batesville.
Shoemaker was CEO at Tri-Lakes when the alleged fraudulent dealing occurred. He also is accused of embezzlement at another hospital where he was CEO.
All defendants remain free on bond.
