Senior U.S. District Judge Neal B. Biggers moved their Dec. 12 trial start to Jan. 9 in Oxford.
Batesville doctor Robert S. Corkern asked for the delay, saying his Sept. 21 indictment did not give his attorneys time to develop his defense.
Indicted months earlier in the same case were Ray Shoemaker of Tupelo, a health care executive, and Levi "Lee" Garner, a Batesville businessman.
The men are accused in a kickback and bribery scheme surrounding nursing services to Tri-Lakes Medical Center in Batesville, where Shoemaker was chief executive officer.
Each pleaded not guilty and is free on bond.
