CORINTH - A Corinth woman was killed Wednesday when a building being demolished fell on her.

Suzanne Marie Clark, 24, of 802 Redwood Drive, was pronounced dead at the scene on Stanford Drive near U.S. Highway 72, Police Chief David Lancaster said.

Clark and her mother, Betty Thomas, were both trapped under a storage building as they attempted to remove tin from the building, the chief said.

Police were called to the scene about 1 p.m., and Thomas was transported by ambulance to Magnolia Regional Health Center, where late Thursday she was reported in stable condition.
