Ward said Thursday the phone calls have slowed down but with the collegiate regular season winding down and Ward's regular season over, his recruitment may be going to the next level.
The official visits may get a bit more serious as well.
"I know Alabama is wanting me to take one on January, but I don't know if I'll be committed by then," said Ward, as he opened two letters, one from Florida State.
He's taken up offers to attend several games, but the only official visits the five-star recruit has taken were to LSU and Auburn.
He said he plans on attending the LSU at Ole Miss game Saturday night, his first time back in Oxford since the announcement of Houston Nutt's firing.
That said, his top five list isn't changing until the end of the college regular season.
That list is filled by Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.
